“Female stereotypes in the media tend to undervalue women as a whole, and diminish them to sexual objects and passive human beings.”

Today’s behind the scenes photo is all about the power and the glory of Wheat (I once heard him referred to as Wheaticus. It is a fitting nickname.) Bask in his light, puny mortals. It is by his will alone that we can see what the heck is going on on-screen in the final cut of the film.

Thank you, Wheat!

For those who might be wondering how I managed to mount my camera upside down on a tripod: this is a very lightweight, but also very flexible, photographic tripod from Vanguard’s Alta Pro range. The middle post comes out very easily and you can reattach it from underneath. That middle post also “cranes” 180 degrees (I haven’t used that yet, but it was one of the things that made me even more excited about getting this tripod.) I have a ball mount head on it for even greater flexibility of how I position the camera.

This is someone’s actual home so we tried to avoid getting blood everywhere, even on tile, and staining things, thus the incontinence pads that Shawn’s standing on.

STELLA BUIO actress Laura D’Anieri was interviewed (before Lance Flint, I have to admit) by Char Hardin for her movie review blog! Check it out!
