The few times I’ve gotten to do a Q&A on one of my films I’ve felt a little weird because of this. My answers probably seem so wishy-washy, because while yes, I had an intention, it’s either there (and I’m always really excited when someone repeats it back at me) or I didn’t say it right and that was my chance to do it. Also, I’m much much more interested in hearing someone else’s interpretation. I might not agree with it but I’m so interested in hearing it. What someone else thinks you said tells you a lot about what you said, I think.
Ditto like a lot. Plus, I get really nervous in front of people. I don’t like a lot of attention on me, I just like making movies and telling stories.
