When I got home from the shoot, I put the bat, which was covered in very sticky fake blood, in a corner to be dealt with when I was awake and promptly forgot about it. A few days later, my mom picked up the bat, not realizing that we’d used it in the film, and was totally grossed out when she realized that it was covered in blood.
I was amused.
I still need to clean off that bat…
TRIVIA: I’ve had that bat since I was in coach pitch baseball about twenty five years ago. :D
