I love October. I love October not just because it’s my birthday month, but because it’s also got Halloween in there and it usually signals a change in the weather. I’m really looking forward to being in a place where the leaves change colours again…

Anyway, this month in particular is rockin’ my socks because several festivals have decided to play my film during their events this month. This weekend, Stella Buio is playing at the Buffalo Screams Horror Film Festival in Buffalo, NY (it’s gong on now so if you live in Buffalo, you should click on the link and check it out!) AND, if you’re in the Tampa / Ybor City area, Stella Buio will be playing at Creative Loafing’s Reel Terror Film Festival!

And next weekend, wow…I’ll be posting more about it closer to the time, but, Stella’s playing the Elgin’ Monster MashUp in Elgin, Illinois and All Things Horror’s ShudderFest in Boston, Massachusetts where it’s been paired with the Soska sister’s American Mary on my actual birthday (October 26 for anyone keeping score) and the next day it’s playing at the Geek Horror Film Festival in Charlotte, NC. :D

Where will I be? I’ll be at Spooky Empire (where, funnily enough, my film was rejected from their festival, Freak Show), hanging out with friends, meeting some new ones, and gettin’ my nerd on!
