We white folks have got to do better. The onus is on us to tear down the systemic oppression we’ve created and allowed hold others down simply because “it doesn’t affect me.” Yes, it does, in ways large and small. Thank you to the peaceful protestors who are out there holding those who claim to be our leaders and protectors responsible for doing their jobs for everyone.
